Early 19th century Nantgarw porcelain large oval dessert dish, finely painted with a spray of colourful flowers within a border of specimen flowers against a gilt dot ground.
Impressed mark : ‘Nantgarw C.W.’
Date: circa 1815
Length : 12¼” (31cm)
Condition : Two stress cracks to centre, wear to gilding. No restoration. (See photos)

Comment: An excellent specimen/study piece for a collector, at a fraction of the usual prices for scarce Nantgarw pieces, probably £800 to £1,000 in good condition.
