A very decorative early 19th century English porcelain inkstand & cover, with rococo style moulding and pierced plinth, the interior with two covered inkwells. Hand painted with flowers against a pale powder blue ground with gilding.
Pattern number ‘2379’ to underside of base.
Possibly Grainger’s Worcester.
Date: circa 1835
Length: 5¼” (13.3cm)
Height : 4⅜”(11.2cm)
Condition : Some good quality restoration to the lid & one corner of the base/foot. Minute chip to rim and the leaves on finial.
