18th century Derby porcelain seated figure of a putto holding a sheaf of corn, emblematic of Summer from a set of four ‘Infant Seasons’, on a raised, scroll moulded base.
Traces of ‘patch marks’
Date: circa 1765-70
Height : 7” (17.8cm)
Condition : Glued break to neck, small losses to scrolling at side of base, chips and small losses to corn, leaves & flowers. Tiny loss to sickle blade.
