18th century Derby porcelain figure of a seated shepherd playing bagpipes, his dog sitting at his side, on a raised mound base with elaborate scroll moulding.
Date: circa 1765-70
Height : 7⅜︎” (18.3cm)
Condition : Overall condition is fairly good, there is an old glued break to his neck, the feathers on his hat and the mouthpiece of the pipes are missing. Various small chips and losses to flowers, leaves etc. (see photos)
