A good quality 18th century Derby porcelain large candlestick figure of a girl holding a basket of flowers, standing on a tall mound base moulded with rococo scrolls. The bocage supports a porcelain candle sconce.
Date: circa 1765
Height : 12” (30.5cm)
Condition : The figure is in very good condition, there are losses to the bocage, chips to some flowers but no restoration. The candle sconce is a replacement.

AD Comment: A lovely figure, almost the quality of Chelsea. A small bonus of there being a replacement sconce is that it could be used with a candle without worrying about damaging an 18th century sconce.
The bocage looks a little one sided, there are some losses but they were during manufacture and are glazed over. (see photos)
