Late 18th century creamware model of a recumbent goat feeding a kid. Naively modelled and decorated with coloured ‘running’ glazes.
Date: circa 1780-1800
Height : 4” (10cm)
Condition : Some old restoration to horns, ears, right hind leg & tail etc, subsequent loss to hind leg. Various small chips and abrasions. The line visible under the base is an original firing ‘shrinkage’ crack, not damage.
