Chinese Export Porcelain Hexagonal Ewer – English Decorated.

Description

Early 18th century Chinese porcelain small hexagonal ewer & cover with relief moulding and underglaze blue floral decoration, probably produced for the Persian export market, over painted in England during the early part of the 19th century with green, red & orange enamels with gilding.
Kangxi period.
Circa :  1710 + 1830
Height : 6⅝” (17cm)
Condition: Knop reattached, small restoration to rim of ewer and a small chip gilded over. Minute chips to tip of spout.
