A good quality 18th century Chinese export porcelain two-handled, oval chestnut basket and stand.
Decorated in typical ‘Compagnie des Indes’ style, painted in famille rose enamels & gilding.
Qianlong period.
Date: circa 1770
Length of stand: 9¼” (23.5cm)
Height of basket overall:4⅛” (10.5cm)
Condition : Professional restoration to both handles and an associated crack to the rim. The handles are 95% original, just a tiny piece made up. Stand is in excellent condition.
