An attractive 18th century Chelsea-Derby period double figure group of figures emblematic of Winter and Spring, standing beside a tree on a rocky mound base.
incised ’68’ to underside of base, with ‘patch marks’
Date: circa 1780
Height : 9½” (24cm)
Condition : Some fairly minor restoration to : part of gun barrel, handle of basket, one side branch of tree. Some unrestored chips to leaves etc.
