An unusual and very decorative early 19th century English pottery Lekythos style vase or ewer, decorated with ‘Attic’ style figures against a buff coloured ground with elaborate gilding.
Impressed ‘2’ to underside of base.
Date: circa 1800-1810
Height : 9½” (24cm)
Condition : Very good, just a tiny chip (see photos) and minor surface wear & scratching from use. NO restoration at all.
