C19th English porcelain rectangular inkstand/deskset, with scroll moulded rim and handles, decorated with a panel of hand painted european flowers against a rich cobalt blue ground with elaborate gilding. The set includes a matching taper/candlestick and two lids with moulded ‘tulip’ knops (inkpots missing)
Unmarked, attributed to Minton.

Length : 11½” (29.2cm)
Width: 6¾” (17.2cm)
Condition : Small loss to one handle, cleanly glued break to taperstick, chips to tulips, some ink staining to undersides of lids and taperstick. No hidden restoration.
