19th century Derby (Bloor period) large candlestick figure of a girl holding flowers in her apron. The candle sconce supported on a branch entwined with colourful flowers and foliage.
Incised model number ‘No400’ to underside of base
Faux ‘Meissen’ crossed swords mark in blue.
Date: circa 1830
Height : 10” (25.5cm)
Condition : Restored break to branch and associated restoration to left hand and some flowers etc. Slight damage to right hand. Losses and repairs to some flowers and the sconce.
