Description
C18th Worcester (Dr Wall/1st period) porcelain oval creambowl with pierced cover, pale yellow ground with moulded flower heads, the interior with reserves of flowers against a ‘scale blue’ ground, with moulded ‘twig’ handles and colourful encrusted flowers.
square ‘seal’ mark in underglaze blue.
Date: circa 1770
Height : 5¼” (13.3cm)
Length of bowl (inc handles) 8″ (20.2cm)
Condition : One flower & one handle glued, chips and losses to some flowers. One flower missing from lid.
