Description
18th century Worcester (DrWall/1st period) porcelain small straight sided mug, decorated with the ‘Dalhousie’ pattern, a circular hand painted panel of a country scene with a cottage beside a river, with underglaze blue border and polychrome floral sprays.
Date: circa 1785
Height: 4½” (11.5cm)
Condition: Good overall condition with just some minor surface wear from use & a tiny flake of gold from the rim. No damage or restoration.
*There is an original firing fault to the rim, under the gilding but just visible in the close-up photographs.
