Description
A naively modelled 18th century Staffordshire pottery cow creamer, standing on a raised rectangular base with moulded vertical fluting.
Decorated with high temperature ‘Pratt’ type underglaze colours.
Date: c 1785-90
Height : 4¾” (12cm)
Condition : Restoration to the horns, the lid is a replacement.
The ears were missing in the original firing.
The tail is perfect.
Some wear and flaking to glaze on the base.
