C18th Qianlong period, large oval platter, painted with birds, rocks and flowering plants in ‘Famille Rose’ enamels.
* what appears at first glance to be a glued break to the rim is actually an 18th century fired frit repair by a ‘China Burner/Restorer’, the riveted/stapled repair is probably by another repairer at a later date.
