Description
A good quality and very decorative late 18th century Paris porcelain half round bulb pot and cover, decorated with hand painted reserves of river and waterfall scenes between panels of elaborate gilding.
‘Queens Factory’ under ownership of Guy and Houzel.
Faint ‘G.H. Rue Thiroux’ mark painted in red to underside. (See photos, including a comparison with marks from ‘Paris Porcelain 1770-1850’)
