Mid 18th century Meissen porcelain figure of a shepherd boy playing a recorder, his dog sitting at his side.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to back of base.
Date: circa 1750
Height : 5½” (14cm)
Condition : Some very good restoration to the brim of his hat, fingers, end of pipe, dog’s left ear, corner of coat, right toe (pre restoration photos included in image gallery)
