18th Century English black glazed, red earthenware ‘Jackfield’ type, small teapot & cover standing on three ‘paw’ feet, with moulded ‘crabstock’ handle and spout.
Probably Staffordshire.
Date: circa 1760
Height : 5” (12.5cm)
Length overall: 6½” (16.5cm)
Condition : Faint crack to top of handle, chip/small loss to tip of spout (partially filled) chip to rim, chips to underside of lid. No restoration.
