Description

18th century Derby porcelain figure of a young man standing beside a flower encrusted tree stump, a basket of flowers at his side.
Traces of  ‘patch marks’
Date: circa 1765
Height : 10” (25.5cm)
Condition :  Overall condition is good, there has been some restoration to the brim of his hat only, some of the overpainting has flaked (see photos)
There are chips and losses to some of the flowers and leaves.
* The green enamel on the leaves is very ‘dry’ it might be a firing issue or maybe oxidisation.
