Description
An unusual 18th century Chinese export porcelain tea bowl and saucer, decorated with a central panel of an oriental gentleman preparing and drinking tea, painted in the early Meissen style within an ornate cartouche and a gilt ‘spearhead’ border.
Qianlong period.
Date: circa 1760
Diameter of saucer : 4½” (11.3cm)
Condition : Excellent original condition, just some surface wear from use. No damage or restoration.
