C18th Chinese Export Tea Bowl With ‘Clobbered’ Decoration.

Description

An unusual 18th Century Chinese export porcelain flower shaped tea bowl with moulded trailing (Lotus?) flower feet, painted in enamel colours with Chinese figures tending Goats, overpainted in England with brightly coloured flowers and butterflies against a blue-green background with gilt & red border to the interior.
Date: circa 1760 + c1830’s decoration.
Diameter : 2⅞” (7.3cm)
Condition : Hairline from the rim. Restored chips to rim. Some wear to the feet.
