A very attractive 18th Century Chinese export porcelain small ‘wine pot’ and cover, painted in underglaze blue with oriental figures etc, overpainted in England during the 19th century, with colourful flowers and foliage, with iron red and gilt borders, spout and handle.
Faux Chinese square mark in red.
Date: circa 1760 + c1830’s decoration.
Height : 4¼” (11cm)
Condition : Very good, very very faint hairline from the rim, only ½” long, there is a small chip to the tip of the spout but it is under the gilding. No restoration at all.
