An attractive 18th century Chinese export porcelain oval dish with lattice border, probably the stand for a chestnut basket. Decorated with a well painted panel of ‘Mandarin’ figures in a garden, in ‘famille rose’ enamels.
Qianlong period.
Date: circa 1765
Length : 9¼” (23.5cm)
Width : 7½” (19cm)
Condition : Old breaks, some rivets/staples, small section of lattice border missing (see photos, everything is clearly visible)
