C18th Bow porcelain figure of Pierrot (Pedrolino) standing on a pad base with applied flowers and a tree stump support for the figure.
From the Italian Comedy (commedia dell’arte) after a Meissen figure modelled by P. Reinicke, c1745.
Date: circa 1758
Height : 5¾” (14.5cm)
Condition :** Fairly extensive overpainting covering restoration, impossible to identify where and how much restoration there is but it’s well done and seems to be mostly original porcelain. Two flower heads missing from the tree stumps.
