C18th Bow Figure – Adolescent Season – WINTER

Description

A good 18th century Bow figure of a youth wearing a tricorn hat, with his hands in a fur muff, standing on a scroll moulded base raised on four scroll feet.
From the ‘Adolescent Seasons’ emblematic of Winter.
Date: circa 1762
Height : 7¼” (18.5cm)
Condition : Minor restoration to re-attach right leg and part of coat, corner of coat and to re-attach one foot of the base. A few small chips & losses to foliage. (Pre-restoration photos available)
