19th century English porcelain fluted tea cup & saucer, with applied flowers and foliage forming the feet (and handle) in the oriental style, as used by Meissen. Hand painted with colourful birds & butterflies within gilt rims. The underside with ‘lotus petal’ moulding, painted with a pink ground and natural colours on the leaves etc.
Meissen style crossed swords marks in blue enamel.

Condition: Handle of cup is missing, small losses & chips to some of the foliage including one stem which helps to support the saucer when flat.
Short firing crack to rim of saucer.
