Description
A crisply moulded Staffordshire pottery jug with relief moulded portraits of ‘The Miser’ in an oval cartouche and with moulded stylised leaves.
Pearlware decorated with high temperature underglaze ‘Pratt’ type colours.
Date: circa 1790-1800
Height : 5⅜” (13.5cm)
Condition : Chips to the rim (one small flake glued) & underside of base (see photos) No restoration at all.
