Description

Early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware jug with ‘Pratt’ type relief moulded decoration of a Fox Hunting Scene picked out in high temperature underglaze colours.
Circa : 1800-1810
Height : 5½” (14cm)
Condition:  Just a short, faint hairline to the lip and a few very small chips, no restoration at all, minor staining to glaze. (the ‘lines’ visible on the handle and side of lip are original shrinkage cracks, not damage)
