Description
18th Century Meissen Sucrier and cover, hand painted with birds and scattered insects in puce monochrome beneath a gilt line rim. The cover with a finely modelled flower knop, the stem and leaf picked out in green enamel.
Underglaze blue ‘Crossed Swords’ mark with ‘dot’

Condition : Excellent original condition, just minute wear to a couple of petals on the finial. No restoration.
