A very scarce 19th century Staffordshire porcelain figure of a monkey wearing a dress and an apron, holding a butter churn, on a pale yellow pen-holder base.
Impressed model number: ‘369’
Samuel Alcock & Co. Burslem.
Date: circa 1840
Height : 4½” (11.5cm)
Condition : Very good, just a faint stress crack on the top of the base (see photos) No damage or restoration.
