Description

Early English pearlware  pottery large portrait bust of Rev John Wesley, with square plinth base moulded with stylised leaves, decorated with high temperature ‘Pratt’ type underglaze colours.
Made in Yorkshire, probably Mexborough.
Date: circa 1830
Height : 10” (25.5cm)
Condition : Overall condition is very good, just a small restoration to a chip on the nose. Two small chips to the base, minor wear. (See photos)
