Avery spectacular and apparently unrecorded pair of 19th century English Porcelain large two handled pot pourie vases with pierced covers, with spiral moulding and standing on naturalistic mound bases surrounded by standing and recumbent deer.
The underside of the bases painted with an intense purple ‘marble’ effect, probably to disguise shrinkage cracks from the original firing.
Attributed to H & R Daniel.
