A very good quality early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware pottery figure of a boy setting fire to a piece of kindling using a magnifying glass.
Finely decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Emblematic of Fire from a set of the four elements.
Date: circa 1825
Height : 6½” (16.5cm)
Condition : Excellent original condition with just minor surface wear and a few tiny chips. No damage or restoration.
