Early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware pottery figure of a boy setting fire to a piece of kindling using a magnifying glass. Emblematic of Fire from a set of the four elements.
Date: circa 1820
Height : 6⅝︎” (17cm)
Condition : Overall fairly good condition, there is a ‘stress’ line from his left shoulder, some flaking to enamels on his cloak, hat & shoes has been touched in (see photo’s)
