Todays item is a very unusual 19th century British pottery figure of a seated Monk, made in the form of condiment dispenser, perhaps for mustard, the prayer book with rosary is in the form of a lid/cover with one corner notched to make room for a spoon or ladle handle.
Probably of Scottish origin, or maybe Staffordshire, circa 1830.
