18th Century English black glazed, red earthenware ‘Jackfield’ type, hot water jug & cover with ‘Vine’ relief moulding and moulded ‘crabstock’ spout and handle.
* a few minute traces of original gilding.
Probably Staffordshire.
Date: circa 1760
Height : 6¼” (16cm)
Condition : A few small chips to edge of lid, original firing chip to one of the feet. No restoration.
