18th Century English black glazed, red earthenware ‘Jackfield’ type, teapot & cover with relief moulded vines, standing on three ‘paw’ feet, with moulded ‘crabstock’ spout and handle.
* note remains of original gilding.
Probably Staffordshire.

Condition : Chips to tip of spout & edge of lid, bird’s head restored.
