Early English, ‘Pratt Ware’ pottery jug with relief moulded decoration depicting ‘Loyal Volunteer’ soldiers, picked out in high temperature underglaze ‘Pratt type’ colours.
* Note : traces of original gilding ….
Date: circa 1795
Height : 6” (15cm)
Condition : Very good, just a tiny chip on the edge of the base, minor surface wear. No restoration.
