Description

Early 19th century Coalport porcelain dessert plate with indented rim, decorated with a central reserve of hand painted roses in a basket, within a rich cobalt blue border with elaborate gilding.
*The painting has been attributed to the workshop of William Billingsley at Mansfield, see references below.
Date: circa 1800-1805
