A good pair of 18th century Derby porcelain large figures of seated putti, emblematic of seasons, SPRING holding a basket of flowers & AUTUMN holding a basket of grapes.
From a set of ‘The Infant Seasons‘
Traces of ‘patch marks’ to underside of bases.
Date: Circa 1760-65
Height : 6½” (16.5cm)
Condition : Good, just a little restoration to: SPRING: one flower & chip on sash. AUTUMN: handle of basket & a few grapes.
Tiny unrestored losses to leaves & petals.
