Description
Early 19th century Coalport porcelain part dessert service, decorated with reserves of hand painted European flowers against a pale orange ground and with gilt motif to centre, the main ‘shapes’ of the service have the relief moulded ‘Union’ emblem, consisting of a Crown surrounded by Thistles, Shamrocks and Roses, all pieces have moulded and gilded ‘gadroon’ type rims.
Pattern number ‘2/99’ on some pieces.

Condition :
COMPORT: 14⅝” (37cm) Excellent original condition.
SQUARE DISHES (2) 9″ (23cm) Used, slight wear, one is a bit spotty in the glaze.
SHELL DISHES (2) Well used, surface wear, crazing and light staining.
CREAM BOWLS (2) Flower knop petals chipped, some crazing and light staining.
PLATES (10) 9½” (24cm) One has short hairline, several have light surface wear and a few have light crazing.
No restoration on any pieces.
