Description

An attractive early 19th century small spill vase with flared rim and pedestal base, by Charles Bourne of Fenton, Staffordshire.
Decorated with hand painted panels of polychrome flowers against a cobalt blue ground overpainted with stylised flowers & insects in coloured enamel & gilding.
‘CB/229’ mark & pattern number painted in red.
Circa 1825
Height: 4⅞︎” (12.5cm)
Condition: Excellent, just minute wear from use.
