Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery pepper pot in the form of a squatting figure of Roger Giles.
Pearlware, painted with overglaze enamel colours.
Date: circa 1830
Height: 4″ (10cm)
Condition: Good, a few tiny flakes of enamel, small chip under edge of base. Original firing flaw on top of hat.
No restoration.
