RESTORATION PROJECT

Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery group of two boys standing beneath a tree, on a mound base with moulded scrolling and the embossed title ‘FRIENDSHIP’ on a ribbon. * Note how part of the title was painted on during manufacture, to cover a firing defect.
Marked ‘WALTON’  on a ribbon at back of base.
Circa 1820
Height : 7½” (19cm)
Condition : Small dog missing from the base, one boy’s left arm is missing, a few small losses to bocage, short stress crack at back of base.
