C18th Teapot & Stand + Saucer Dish, by Neale & Co

Description

A good quality late 18th century English porcelain globular teapot with cover & stand, decorated with a border of blue & pink enameled squiggles and fine gilding.
The ‘ring’ knop to the lid has a moulded ‘strap’ and rivet effect, in the manner of Derby.
ALSO INCLUDED, the large saucer dish, matching.

Height : 6½” (16.5)
Diameter of stand: 5⅞” (15cm)
Diameter of saucer dish: 8″ (20.5cm)
Condition : Very good, just some minor chipping to the tip of the spout. Slight wear to gilding from use, mostly on the centre of the stand & dish (see photos)
No restoration at all.
