18th century Chinese export porcelain tea cup and saucer, decorated with a central reserve of hand painted flowers and scattered insects in famille rose enamels, within an underglaze blue ‘cell’ pattern border and a band of An-Hua ‘secret decoration’ of insects & flowers (slip trailed, underglaze)
Qianlong period.
Circa: 1760
Diameter of saucer: 4¾” (12cm)
Condition: Tiny chip to rim of saucer and and even smaller chip (1mm) to rim of cup. Slight wear to gilding. No restoration.
