Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery large figure group depicting ‘The Vicar & Moses’.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours (slight missfiring to some of the colours)
Circa : 1820
Height : 9″ (23cm)
Width: 7″ (18cm)
Condition: Vicar’s left hand & goblet missing (replaced but not coloured or glazed) some good restoration to the right hand side of the base, towards the back, where a section of the base has been rebuilt (see photos). Small chips, wear and abrasions, there is some overpainting on the hats, this may be covering chips or flaking.
