Victorian Staffordshire ‘Gothic’ Pastille Burner

Description

Mid 19th century Staffordshire pastille burner in the form of a two story ‘gothic cottage’ decorated with climbing plants and ‘lavender’ coloured foliage.
Attributed to Thomas Parr.
Date: c1855
Height : 6⅛” (15.5cm)
Condition: A small section of ‘lavender’ foliage chipped away on the right hand side of the roof (see photos) Original firing fault. Slight wear to gilding.  No restoration at all.
