An unusual late 18th century Staffordshire figure of a man, possibly a beggar, in dishevelled clothing and worn out shoes, standing with a sheep at his side.
Pearlware decorated with high temperature ‘Pratt’ type underglaze colours.

Condition : There is an original firing fault, his left arm is missing during manufacture. A few small chips. No restoration at all.
